Consultants

The County hired the consultants to prepare the necessary studies and manage the process of producing the new land use plan.  The consultants are:

County Planning Staff

Several Carbon County staff members will be active in the process of preparing the new plan.  The county staff involved with the plan are:

Citizen Committee

The role of the Citizen Steering Committee is to work in an advisory capacity with the consultants in preparing the plan.  The committee will do this by providing advice, direction, and feedback to the consultants throughout the planning process.  The County Commissioners have appointed these citizens to serve on the Citizen Steering Committee:

County Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning & Zoning Commission is the land planning board of Carbon County.  Under Wyoming State law, the Planning & Zoning Commission must recommend a land use plan to the County Commissioners before it can be adopted as the county's official plan.  Members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.  The current members are:
