This page provides information about the groups and people involved in producing the Big Horn County Land Use Plan.
Consultants
The County hired the consultants to prepare the necessary studies and manage the process of producing the new land use plan. The consultants are:

County Planning Staff
Staff members of the Big Horn County Engineering, Planning, and GIS Department will be active in the process of preparing the new plan. The project manager and primary staff person involved with the plan is:

Citizen Committee
The role of the Citizen Committee is to work in an advisory capacity with the consultants in preparing the plan. The committee will do this by providing advice, direction, and feedback to the consultants throughout the planning process. The County Commissioners, on recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Commission, have appointed these citizens to serve on the Citizen Committee:

County Planning & Zoning Commission
The Planning & Zoning Commission is the land planning board of Big Horn County. Under Wyoming State law, the Planning & Zoning Commission must recommend a land use plan to the County Commissioners before it can be adopted as the county's official plan. Members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. The current members are:

Board of County Commissioners
The County Commissioners are the governing body for Big Horn County. The current commissioners are:
